Questions about getting in touch
Is the first chat really free?
Yes. Your first conversation with us costs nothing and you're under no obligation. It's a chance for us to understand your business and for you to decide whether we're the right accountants for you.
How do you charge for your work?
We work on fixed fees, and we also offer monthly packages if you'd rather spread the cost. We'll agree the fee with you before we start, so there are no surprise bills.
What should I have ready before we talk?
Nothing formal. It helps to know how your business is set up, roughly what it turns over, whether you have staff or are VAT registered, and any deadlines coming up. If you have recent accounts or tax returns, those are useful too.
Can I switch to you from my current accountant?
Yes. Changing accountant is a common step and usually simpler than people expect. Your previous accountant passes on the information needed, and we'll talk you through what happens.
I'm behind with my returns. Can you still help?
Yes. Let us know which returns or accounts are late or due soon when you get in touch, and we'll look at those first.
Do you only work with limited companies?
No. We work with sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and limited liability partnerships, covering everything from self assessment to payroll and VAT.
